She was a Mensa member and actress who played roles on the screen in Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice, Stuart Little and Thelma & Louise. The actress was nominated for an Golden Globe Award nominee for her character Dottie Hinson as Dottie hinson in A League of Their Own. In 1988, she was awarded the Academy Award Best Supporting actor for Muriel Pritchett's character in the film The Accidental Tourist. She was the main character in Beetlejuice - an American horror comedy film from 1988. The script was written by and directed in by Tim Burton. Davis's performance in films as well as on TV is rewarded with a variety of distinctions. The college awarded her Junior College All-American and transferred to Arizona State University, where she put off playing soccer due to doubts about herself. Then she transferred to California State University Fullerton and received a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and a minor in human resource management. She moved to Los Angeles after completing her studies to pursue a model as well as acting career. It was then that she came across the casting call for W.W.E. at random and, after impressing talent scouts, she was selected for a tryout period. After that, she relocated to Orlando, Florida where she started her education in an organization called the Performance Center of the company.
